Summary: The COBRE for Integrative Neuroscience at the University of Nevada, Reno is hosting a 3.5-day workshop on steady-state visual evoked potentials (SSVEP) at the University of Nevada, Reno from September 24-27. The SSVEP paradigm provides a highly efficient and sensitive noninvasive measure for recording stimulus-driven neural activity, and is becoming an increasingly important tool in sensory and cognitive neuroscience. The workshop will cover core principles and applications of SSVEPs and how to measure and interpret them, and will be led by a number of pioneers in the field.

Participation: Space is limited to 60 participants and requires an application submitted before June 30. We are reserving a limited number of positions for IDEA-funded investigators and core directors or their teams, which will include free registration and travel support. To be considered please include a statement in the application noting the IDEA-affiliation. We hope you will encourage your members to attend.

Adjoining conference: The workshop will immediately follow the Optical Society of America Fall Vision Meeting, which will also be hosted by the COBRE for Integrative Neuroscience at UNR on September 20-23. This is a high-quality, low-cost conference focused on both basic and clinical vision science and visual neuroscience. We hope those with interests in visual function will also attend the conference.
